The Space
Base Camp is our camp-themed room featuring a beautiful panoramic mural of the Van Duzen River by legendary local artist Ken Jarvela. Make some cocoa on the camp stove and cozy up by the fireplace! Just a stones throw from Arcata Plaza with amazing shopping, restaurants and the local Saturday Farmers Market.
Guest Access
Enter the private courtyard through a coded gate. Unit #16 is on the east side of the property (walk straight through the courtyard). Guests have access to everything inside this unit, along with use of our bistro tables, and benches throughout the luscious courtyard. Please use the space, that's what its there for!
Other things to note
The fireplace in BaseCamp does put off a smokey scent. If you are sensitive to the smell of wood smoke we advise choosing a different unit!
Our parking lot is secured behind an automatic gate and remotes are available for your use. It is a small parking lot and requires mindfulness to navigate. We have installed various safety features, but please park at your own risk.
All of our units are NO SMOKING and guests will be charged $250 if evidence of cigarette smoking is found in the unit.
